The Sioux Falls Design Center is located at 108 West 11th Street in the historic Boyce Greeley Building just off Phillips Avenue. The SFDC is on track to be LEED Platinum certified, incorporating energy efficient systems, water efficient fixtures, and reused and recycled materials such as slate chalk boards.
March-April DC Gallery
For the months of March-April the DC Gallery will be featuring the, "Design is Everywhere. Spread the Word" exhibit created by South Dakota Interior Designers (SDID). The exhibit will showcase what interior design is, who interior designers are and what inspires them. The opening reception for the exhibit will be Friday, March 1 from 6-9 p.m. Light appetizers and beverages will be served. Following the opening reception, come to the Sioux Falls Design Center during regular business hours to view the gallery.
The Sioux Falls Design Center may be rented out any day throughout the week, Sunday through Saturday. Use of the Sioux Falls Design Center is subject to rental fees. Rates are as follows:
Daytime (9:00 am - 5:00 pm): $50 (up to two hours)
Evening (5:00 pm - 12:00 am): $150
Full Day (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.): $300

Please contact Sarah Miller at email@example.com or Brooke Orcutt, at 605-782-8748 or firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve space at the Sioux Falls Design Center. The space may be reserved based on availability.
When a reservation has been made, a contract will be mailed to you. The contract must be signed and returned to the Sioux Falls Design Center.
Minnehaha County requires those hosting special events to provide proof of liability insurance in the amount of at least $500,000 before a reservation can be finalized.
Groups wishing to serve alcohol must receive the permission of the Sioux Falls City Council at least four weeks prior to the event. Groups wishing to sell alcohol must purchase a one-day liquor license from the City of Sioux Falls.
Alcohol and containers must remain within the space.
Arrangements with caterers are the responsibility of the rental party. Clean-up is the responsibility of the caterer or rental party. The rental party will be charged a $50 fee for any cleanup that is not completed.
Chairs, rectangular tables, and a podium are included in the rental fees. The Sioux Falls Design Center also has a whiteboard, chalkboards, projector, screen, and speakers available for use. Equipment setup, room layout, etc., is the responsibility of the renter.
Each party is responsible for hiring a sound technician and/or renting sound equipment not available at the Sioux Falls Design Center.
No smoking is allowed.
No disposable dishware is allowed. The only exceptions to this policy are recyclable plastic dishware. If a caterer is providing place settings, it is the responsibility of the rental party to be sure dishware is non-disposable.
